Chilling Day 1

The weather forecast had given out a very sunny and hot day, so we decided to keep of the hills and have a ramble around the country lanes n woodlands instead. In the event, the day was overcast and even had a few showers. Ah well ... for those who would like to come along, heres some pics ...
After a short bus ride and a hours odd walk we arrived here ... our first resting place








Then it was on foot again for another couple of hours

This was a very pleasant site to see next ... where the wife needed to put her foot up and we just enjoyed the views. I had half a scrumpy jack






Then it was back on foot over a bit of moorland ... the wild flowers were everywhere

Passed some old Lime Kilns, then headed through the woods and to the train station in Caerphilly to catch a train back. Took a pic for Tref that was on the wall by the ticket office.








Thats its... Chilling Day 2 today and we going with friends on another adventure .. will post some pics
