Christmas in the Alps

I would like to share with you a few Christmas photos .

During the day, things were getting prepared...

Introducing, my friendly crystal and pewter malt flask with our family crest and motto.

Louise's first duty is to help papa place wee Jesus in the manger...

...and a proud papa I am !

I then had other duties...

...like opening a glorious Sauternes to be had with the foie gras

My lassies, ready for the Christmas table.

Bon appétit !

Once the children were in bed it was time for Santa to arrive.

Ah Robert, that brings back memories of my time living in France. Sauternes with fois gras frais. I really miss that combination.
