Christmas attire - first time kilted!
Season greetings to you all! Thought I should share a few pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - my first two days kilted in public! Kilts are, to say the least, not common in my family (or our country for that matter) and my attire was as such much of the topic for the two days.
Christmas Eve;
Christmas Day;
Kilt is a Balmoral 8yrd from Scotweb in MacGregor tartan.

Your sporran is reeeeeeealy nice!
Hope you had a good Christmas!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

A well-put-together look. Did you go out some where special?

Cheers, Paul, I do kinda like it myself..
Nope, nowhere special. Just the "ordinary" Christmas-parties at home. We do tend to dress up quite a bit for the Holidays, though.
I hope to get a couple more pictures up by the first days of 2010. My fair lady and myself are going to Paris, and my shiny new kilt is certainly the choice of clothing for New Years Eve!

I like the MacGregor tartan very much and have kilt in the same. Yours looks very nice, and I like the sporran as well.

Nice looking kilt. As a MacGregor myself, I'm always glad to see the tartan.
You look well put together. Congratulations.

Your look is fantastic! I am curious as to where you picked up your hose. I am wanting a pair exactly like that.
