Colorado Springs Kilt Night with Rogerson
Last night Birddog (Kevin), his wife (Carol) and I met up with Rogerson visiting from Kansas. We met at the Phantom Canyon in downtown Colorado Springs. After a drink or two at the bar upstairs we moved over to the dart boards for a few games.

Carol wasn't ready to join us in a game but did join in for a photo.

Around 12:30 Rogerson headed back to his room and we headed over to Jack Quinn's to hear the music.

Kevin and Carol were really enjoying the band.

We were asked several times if we were in the parade earlier in the day and there were several other comments made. The best was when we were standing in front of my truck before heading home. A young man walking by said great kilts and ended up standing there talking for quite a while. He was wearing a older black Stillwater Kilt. We invited him to join us here and hope to see him again. It will be great to get another kiltie from the Springs on here. All in all, a great evening.

Last night was a lot of fun. For those wondering, the beret is a British Royal Marines Commando beret; the one that I was honored with a few years ago. I was wearing it in honor of my brothers and sisters in arms, and for Remembrance Day.

Excellent pictures! It is always a pleasure to see X Markers meeting up.
Birddog,
I glad to see I'm not the only one who swing dances in kilt!
Cheers

Ah, Colorado Springs, my old home town! Great pictures!
I wasn't wearing kilts when I was last in the Springs. I've since told a friend of mine that I'd be wearing one when I returned. He told me to make sure my affairs are in order. I knew the Springs was better than that. Thanks guys for proving it!
