    Could not pass this up.

I own a Buchanan Modern and just purchased a Buchanan Hunting kilt. I was in Edinburgh a few weeks ago with family and saw this kilt in a shop on the Royal Mile. I know it is not a traditional kilt but I could not pass up getting it and it arrived on my doorstep a few days after getting back to the States. My wife took these pictures while I was making sure it all fit. I am aware that the kilt belt with buckle would not normally be worn with the Prince Charlie jacket and waist coat but, it seemed to look better with it than without. The kilt is called Lion Heart. It has a Lion Rampant design on the pleats.

I like the Rampant Lion sillo in the pleats.
at Loon this year, I saw the Red Hot Chili Pipers had kilts with a bag pipe woven in.
    Looked cool.

I think your outfit looks very nice! For the life of me I can't see the Rampant Lion on the kilt, but I can see the ones on your hose tops. I think they go great with that outfit, though for those who can see the kilt lion, it may be one too many lions. Nice acquisition.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Click on the photo and it will enlarge. You may then be able to see the Lion Rampant on the pleats.

Very nice. I enjoy the colors of the kilt. Well done. That last shot looks very theatrical.

My wife is a photo buff. She was having some fun when she took the pictures with the natural light.
