Cruise to Norway
I have mentioned it a couple of times that I went with my mother on a cruise to Norway in June.
This is a mixture of travelogue and kiltalogue!
Anyway the first pictures are kilted ones taken on the second night which was a formal night as we headed for Stavanger.
This was an attempt at a self pic in the mirror.
As you can see I was wearing my Isle of Skye.

Mum and I posed for the ship's photographer.

And then with the Ship's Captain. We saw the photos of him and the other passengers and he managed the same expression for everyone! He was quite surprised when I greeted him in Norwegian!

Nice pictures! I hope you were lucky with the weather, though, our summer was short and anemic this year ...

Well Henning hopefully some of the pics will show you we had pretty good weather!
The following morning saw us sailing past the outskirts of Stavanger, the Oil Capital of Norway.

In Norway this type of view is fairly flat country!

And this view looks towards the Sentrum (City Centre) with the surrounding mountains. Stavanger if the capital of the County (fylke) of Rogaland.

Hello Trefor, great pictures from Norway. The picture with you and your
mother looks like a shot from a Hollywood movie, you both look wonderful.
