DBE Bazaar & Car show
Today, (11/7) since we couldn't swing the trip to the Austin Celtic Fest, we went by the Daughters of the British Empire annual Bazaar and British car display. It was a very nice event and I took a few snaps, mostly of the cars....

Here's a little overview of part of the event, it was in the large dining space of the Fluor-Daniel campus near Sugarland, they had many vendors as well as a pub and tea room.

There was a demo by the Houston Scottish Country Dancing group.

And a great bit of piping by the Houston Highlanders.

I meet Her Most Gracious Majesty, Queen Victoria. This nice lady is a Houstonian who portrays Victoria every year at the Dickens festival in Galveston as well as other historic events. She is quite the expert on the Victorian era. We had a brief discussion about the assassination attempt at her Golden Jubilee in 1887.
And some cars;

64 Austin Healy 3000 type 3. I came home from the maternaty ward in a 1960 3000

1960 Roller

1959 MGA. My dad had one of these in the 60's

Mid 60's Termite trap.

Mid 60's 427 AC Cobra
