Debuting my Matt Newsome box pleat
My friend, Laura, got married this afternoon, and the ceremony was held in her new barn, so dress for the event was quite casual. It seemed the perfect opportunity to debut my new Buchanan Old Sett, in Ancient colors, by Matt Newsome. She had asked me quite some time back, to come kilted, and I helped her procure a Locharron-made Anderson tartan sash to go with her dress, and matching tie for her groom. Along with Brian's (the bagpiper) Isle of Skye kilt, there was a nice showing of tartan at this wedding.
Anyway, after the ceremony I asked someone to snap a couple shots of my new box pleat. I LOVE THIS KILT!
A couple shots of the front...

And a couple of the box pleats...
