Disappearing[IMG]http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h420/jimmy436/D Maid of the Loch
Yesterday I was up at my frequent haunt at Loch Lomond Shores, the weather had been fairly foggy but it suddenly cleared leaving a bright and beautiful blue sky over the Loch but within the hour the fog had returned giving the Maid of the Loch a type of Brigadoonish aspect to her as can be seen from the photographs

Very beautiful Jimmy, thanks for sharing. I wish I was there right now! I love how the weather changes so quickly...good Highland weather!

Thanks, Jimmy. Those are excellent photos, and I thought I could see Nessy's head justa taking a peek.

Jimmy: Nice series of pictures. Thanks.
I especially like the last one. That really looks like Nessie's orange nose sticking out of the water, ... scared most of the birds off, too.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

yeh, it was getting a bit eerie as the fog came down and the ducks and geese became silent, Loch Lomond is the 3rd deepest Loch in Scotland, deeper than the North Sea, God only knows whats down there?
Would have been an ideal time to say that there was some sort of monster in Loch Lomond!

Very nice and atmospheric. The snow on the top of the mountains make them look much higher. No snow up here yet.

Beautiful - peaceful - eerie. Great "before and after" shots. Thanks for sharing!
