    Disneyland in a kilt

    Hi all,

Got to go back to Disneyland for Halloween. Always wanted to go to the Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween. Unfortunately I read it wrong and got there to late on Friday and left Monday morning. Oh well next time.

Brought the Lamont tank figuring it would be cool enough to be comfortable. Only problem was the with the sporran, Amy was afraid everyone would think it was Bambi.

    Onward -

A little bit of fun -

    It just seemed right -

    Over to California Adventure -

Next day, may have been without the kilt but still had a good time -

Ahh... another X Marker visits my workplace!

I spot kilts on a regular basis there, mostly Utilikilts, so those wearing traditional kilts really stand out.

    LOL about your Bambi sporran!

    Drac,
Were there any rides or attractions you felt awkward on while being in a kilt? I am going to Disneyworld next April and would like to wear my kilt too. Sometimes the material can get caught in gates or doors, etc.

I will say I'm not much of a ride kind of guy so I can't tell you about the roller coasters in their various forms. Most of the casual rides were no problem like the Haunted Mansion. I will say I was really worried about the amount of chlorine I smelled in the water around the park. I understand the issue but it smelled stronger than a shocked pool.

A few new pick via the Disney photographer -

    Re: Disneyland in a kilt

Nice to see another kilted gentleman at Disney. I haven't been to Disneyland since I was very young, but my family heads to WDW on a somewhat regular basis. Always have at least one kilted day while there, especially at EPCOT.
