Sept 15, 2006... Kilt Nicht oot in Dumfries... number twa... this wuz just a wee kiltie nicht... ainly 3 kilties oan the pub crawl... started oot innocent enough wi' the arrival o Porrick tae Ferintosh...
after a few wee drams in the back garden ... (Blair Athol 12, Caol Ila 15, Tamdu 15...) we started the pub crawl at Cavens Arms... winner o' pub o' the year in Dumfries... we were joined by ma bro-in-law frae Santa Barbara Cali... an we had pints o' excellent real ale...

then doon tae the River Nith an The New Bazaar... were we had drams o' Glenlochy 1974... mmmmm....
the river is luekin guid again... lots o rain lately fillin it back oop... this is the Lady Devorgilla Brig... built in the 13th century....

then we were aff tae Coach & Horses Inn... a wee bit o' guid live rhythm & blues.... an drams o' Lagavulin 16...
then oop the vennel tae the Globe Inn... where we engaged in a bit o' verbal swordplay wi' some o' the local characters... drank drams o' Talisker 10... an met oop wi' Emma an her sis Karen....
an ya cannae visit the Globe withoot seein Rabbie Burns apartment ... Emma an ai gave Patrick the tour... this is Patrick an ai in front o' Rabbie's bed....
next stop wuz Robert The Bruce Pub... but oan the way... ya have tae get a piccie wi' the Burns statue...
Patrick & Emma in the Robert The Bruce Pub... we had a few dram o' Glenmorangie 12... an some real ale... an met oop wi' oor greit friend Diane...
the lassies stayed oan atr The Bruce fur anither yin... an the lads headed fur Souter Johnnies Pub... drams o' Laphroaig an a wee bit o' flirtin wi' the cute barmaid...
