Here's the only pic of my formal get-up. This was at about 3 Am after a few brews and a long ride home. I should also add, the most expesive thing in this outfit is the USA Casual kilt. The jacket and sporran were each $30, Everything Else was under $10. The Flashes were curteousy of our very own TartanHiker. They worked and looked great! The over all reaction was very positive. Turns out the wedding was at a place called Glendalough. Not sure if that means something in Irish, Scots or any other language but the restrooms were marked Lads and Lass'. I got A LOT of looks. Not really what I wore it for but I appreciate it. Everyone was complimentary and had several people come up and ask what clan I was and tell me their clan. Our CFO who is a MacFarlane was wishing he had worn his outfit. All in all it was a great night to dress up. The only thing to make it better would have been for my wife to appreciate the kilt as much as everyone else did. Who knows, maybe their sentiment will rub off one day.
