Elijah in Ohio and Australia
I have two new pictures in my gallery. One is of me at Old Man's Cave State Park in Ohio. The other is not of me in Australia, rather it's me at the Australian exhibit at the Columbus Zoo, but it looked like Australia and is probably as close as I'll ever get. I thought of Graham while I was there.

Good pics you certainly look cheerful, I'll probably never get to Oz either but I'd love to dive the Barrier reef, and see some of countries national parks.

Adam,
Great pictures! When you mentioned Australia and Old Man all I could think of is Graham
Seriously, they really are great pictures, but it is so fun to pick on Graham

Adam, any time you fancy the REAL Australia, just let me know.
Contrary to what you saw, "dunnie" is only a nickname here.
I have only one warning to Americans (and Canadians, but they usually have more sense in this matter)..DO NOT be tempted to try Vegemite, it's foul stuff, worse than (traditional) haggis.
I went into an Australian Goods shop in San Antonio last year. It was funny to see what the Americans considered dinky di aussie to sell.

Thanks for the offer, Graham. However, it'll be quite a while before I can afford such a trip, though it's on my list of places to go. However, it's under Scotland and Hawaii, particularly after I learned that it has more poisonious creatures than anywhere on Earth.

Shared quaters once with an Australian who considered Vegimite to be God's gift to the human palate.
He convinced me to try it and I must say that the taste was beyond description. All I can say is that it must be an aquired taste (or lack thereof).

I can confirm the beauty of Australia..at least what I saw of it. I was there for 7 weeks in 1997 and can't wait to return. As for Vegimite...it is truely NASTY...just say NO!.
