    European Pipe Band Championships 2012 - Belfast

    This event was held today in the grounds of the Stormont Estate in Belfast today for the third year in succession. A wonderful selection of bands from all parts of Ireland, Scotland and no doubt further afield. Here are a few images which give a flavour of the day. The rain was never too far away.

    In Grade 1, Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia were first and Northern Ireland's Field Marshall Montgomery were runners up.
