An example of when kilts work as costumes

My lovely F-H.C.A.G. and I participated in the "Leigh Stampede" (our son's high school mascot is the Longhorn) a short 5 K Walk/Run Fundraiser. There was a costume contest and Star and I decided to enter the couple's competition. Here are our outfits

Silly outfits, but fun, and we made people smile as we went past.

We had a fun time walking the route, we helped raise money for our son's high school, and we came in first place for costumed couple! (Of course we were the only entrant in the couple's division but details, details...)

    Cheers

    Jamie

Oh and the black jackets are actually Leigh Band Jackets with our names and custom embroidery

    Mine reads "Highlander"

Her's reads "She Who Must Be Obeyed"

While it is definitely a mixture of cultures, the Derby/Bowler hats look fine with your loud MacLeod kilts.

If F-H.C.A.G. is S.W.M.B.O, does that make you Rumpole? You've got the bowler but no barrister ever wore that outfit to the Bailey!

You do manage to have fun with kilts.
