Fall colors, Northern Utah, Western Wyoming and a Moose too

Part of my Job in the Vending business is to fill three remote locations in Western Wyoming. So once every 8 weeks or so I park my big truck and take off in a Mini Van for a 12+ hour trek. From my home in Northern Utah I drive up into SE Idaho then east into Wyoming then North all the way to Jackson Hole Wyoming. I have made this trip many times alone but on this one I had the pleasure to have my sweetie ride along with me. Both her and I were amazed at the Fall colors we experienced along the way.
The first four pictures were near Logan Utah

We saw this beautiful lady out enjoying the fall colors also

Here is a closeup of the lady in the woods

These were taken along the Snake River south of Jackson Hole Wyoming.

Finally Yours truly, in my Red Ross by USA Kilts

    Great photos Matty!
We will be in the South state next week and we can see how the two ends of the state compare.

Makes me long for Wyoming. We lived in Rawlins for 5 years in the mid-80's. A lovely place with great folks. I hope to go back someday. Great pictures, thanks!

    Matty, great pictures!
Aye, the Highlands of Utah and Wyoming are grand. Speaking of Grand, the wife and I, along with my boys, will be in Southern Utah in the Moab area. I am sure we will be touring the Grand (Colorado) River. Hope is have pictures to show.

Beautiful country BK! We'll be there the first two weeks of October (Zion, Bryce, North Rim, then on to Maob for Arches and Canyonlands). Send me a PM if you would like to meet up.

    Cheers,
    Brooke

I've never been to Utah, but those photos make me want to check it out. It seems slightly bizarre to me to see deciduous trees and mountains in the same picture--I just don't associate the two together.
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

Nice. Very nice. I could see tossing a backpack on, and spending a week in that countryside...Mmmmmm-HM.
