Vey much appreciated, Derek! Yes I did see and enjoy those pics before, but it hadn't come clearly into my brain that it was the church in your sunrise pic. I posted on Facebook and the fridge that I want a church like that in our backyard. So far, my beloved hasn't started buying up adjacent properties. For what it's worth, I really enjoyed the model layout too.
You're a very capable photographer and I always enjoy your wee photo essays. What kind of equipment do you use?

Love those old church photographs. Bravo.
I've got some photos of the oldest continuously operating Methodist sanctuary in Baltimore, MD - but our church is "new" in comparison to one from the 11th Century. (The present church structure, Old Otterbein UMC, was erected in 1785.)
