Today Kilted Stuart and I attended the Fergus Wedding Show, we brought kilts and both of us dressed to impress, Kilted Sturat in 8yrd Black Watch and PC jacket, and myself in my 8yrd black kilt and Arygll jacket. We had many great responses to the kilts and many potenial new customers. I was even interviewed by the local cable TV, there was a fashion show that Canadian Casual Kilts didn't get invited to, upon inquiring we were invited to join. In any event Kilted Stuart and I called in a favour from a local piper Dean Percy here came out on the catwalk playing Scotland The Brave and I followed behind him, as I made my turn to go up the catwalk I turned quick enough to swish my kilt and answer that dreaded question I don't think they'll forget us next year. Thank you Kilted Stuart for all your help today. Heres some pics , none of my infamous swish as my wife didn't expect that to happen. http://www.flickr.com/photos/17184114@N00

WOW that is neat to see. You both look great and having a piper on board really must have dazzled them. Did you have many inquiries about donning the Kilt for a wedding?

Yeah GMAN we were asked a ton of questions about what kinds of kilts are good for weddings, tartans the self colour kilts were a great hit we are now planning our next event.
Looks Great!!
Totally amazing...so what tartans do you recommend for weddings?
Guy, the tartans I recommend are as follows Holyrood(nearly finished) Campbell of Cawdor(my wife's tartan I wore at our wedding) Scottish National Black Watch Black Stewart Ancient Buchanan My favorite is the black self colour, and presently a smokey grey kilt with a matching vest that we are finishing up on the prototype. Maple Leaf I suggest these if you don't have your own or choose to wear a different one.
Good pics, MacHummel.
