A few pics .. Freelanders visit to Wales

Here are a few pics from David and his family, Eli, Emily and Patrick's visit recently.

It did'nt take long for David to be assimulated into a 'cutoot'

The following day as we were leaving to catch a bus .. a quick pic with Emily and Patrick


Much to my amazement, we had to leave a Wetherspoons pub. The pub had a rule that unless you ordered a main meal, you could'nt stay in there with children! So we took off to a cafe, while waiting for another hopper bus.

It was really great spending some time with David, Eli, Emily and Patrick. They are lovely people ... we'll be meeting up again sometime in the furture in Wales for sure.

Lovely pics, especially the first one of David beside you at your muckle clock, and the reservoir view.
I think the problem with Wetherspoons is the conditions of the Children's Certificate issued with their liquor licence, where you can only bring children into the dining area and not the bar, and then only if you are having a main meal.

David on a bus l bet that is the first time for a while David, lovley photos Derek, now the Red Cow that is a pub l have been in many times in Ponsticill, also the reservoir, beautiful it brings back a lot of happy memories.

Then a visit to the Norwegian Church in Cardiff bay. The white monument is to The British Antarctic Expedition 1910-1913... Rather ironic it being beside a Norwegian Church
