Finally a kilt with a family tie - Czech National Tartan

Well anyone who has read any posts I have made about wish list kilts know this is the one. I purchased this kilt as memorial to my dad who I lost this January and to all my Czech ancestors. If you have checked out my Jones thread on USA Kilt's sub-forum you know I have been waiting 5 months for this.
    So here goes the show.

Beautiful kilt, and I am sure your ancestors and father would be honoured.
[COLOR=#0000cd][I]I'm only off-kilter when my kilt is off.

The kilt on me and the toast

My first outing in my kilt was to church choir practice. They were amazed at the wait time until I explained about the custom weave and tailoring.
Took these shots when I returned home.

It looks even better on you - richer colors, and in a kilt wearing context. Very nice informal outfit with excellent use of color accents. Congratulations!

My brother once visited the Pilsner Urquell brewery in Plzen - said that the beer was unsurpassed - very fresh. Wish I could have been there.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

It was well worth the wait Kevin, that's an absolute corker. Lovely rich colours and a great job by Rocky. The belt and sporran are lovely too.

Well done and congratulations, Kevin! It's beaut! I noticed the admiring feline in pic three. I have a few them scattered around my house.

Thanks for the complements. I am very sad about the selection of Czech beers around me. I really wanted a Cerna Hora because of the Moravian connection. I am sure the Pilsner Urquell is much better in Plzen. The box states that it is shipped cold but you never know how it is really handled and you see it sitting unchilled on a shelf all the time.

Yes, well worth the wait. It is a joy to wear this unique tartan that will last a lifetime. I am sure I am unlikely to see another like it here in the States.
