Fingers crossed the weathers good

I thought recently that I hadn't posted up any pics of our adventures from our walks for at least 18 maybe 24 months. Thats mainly to do with the fact that you have seen the walks n pics before. So yesterday I thought I would work out one of our regular hikes and take a route that will have a different outlook to it. So weather permitting this Sat we will do it.
The mrs caught me beavering away yesterday on a plan

The walk will take us over these fields and stone walls

Over this moorland

Around this reservoir

And finally here for some great real ales and home made grub

Will take lots of pics ...

We will be leaving at the crack of dawn (if not before) and will be well settled in the Red Cow to watch Wales play Ireland in the six nations this sat ... ko 13.30 gmt.

That sounds like a good plan, Derek. I wish that I could be there with you. Hamish's pub (the Red Cow) looks wonderful and taking the scenic route to get there is a fine idea.

Derek: I'm leaving the house now. I'll walk fast and try to meet you at the stone wall in the morning. But, if I'm not there, don't wait. I'll catch up with you at The Red Cow with the pink parasols.

Disaster all around I'm afraid. Yesterday was a lovely day, so we took of as planned for our hike. For whatever reason which I cannot explain our camera refused to work and seems to have given up the ghost. Doh .. so whilst we went on the walk I have no pics .. soz ... plus we watched the Wales/Ireland match as planned .. doh .. I will say no more about that either.
So today we are hitting the town and buying a new camera .. the mrs done a bit of research for the price range we can afford and is looking at a Sony DSC HX10V. Mind you, our other little camera we have had for at least 7/8 years and its seen quite a bit of wear n tear and got wet many times and our adventures. Lucky it was not an expensive one ...
Soz about this, but we intend to do the walk again next weekend and the pictures should be better than what I would have posted now.
