First night of Dancing in the Park cancelled
Well tonight was the first night of Dancing in the Park, it was to start at 7:00 however about 6:00 or 6:30 the clouds rolled in and with that the rain, the band could not set up under such conditions and it was decided to cancel the evening. The good news is that there are 5 weeks of Dancing in the Park and it is always a fun night even if it's rained out. Dancing in the Park takes place at Edwards Garden. We did get a few photos.

A few more to come

Here is what I wore tonight, knowing that it was a bit chilly, I ended up getting a few compliments about how I was dressed and my Inverness Cape.

The wildlife was happy that the field was not filled with dancers

That's about all from me, we must go back to the gardens earlier in the day, and of course I will report from next weeks Dancing in the Park.

Ah, and here we see the not so elusive SECRET SQUIRREL.

Nice look for you McMurdo.

I always get nervous when I'm "regimental" and I see a squirrel!

*blushes* I could be better if I actually had a DSLR with some actual zoom capabilities. Right now I'm operating off of a point & shoot. I was getting nervous every step I took to get to the squirrel. Because I definitely don't want to go through the rabies shots. I was very nervous when I went running after the raccoon as well. But alas the lack of zoom meant I didn't get much of a picture of him. Though I wanted one awfully bad.
Hopefully in a few weeks I will have a DSLR.
I want to go back to the gardens either tomorrow or the day after. I didn't even scratch the surface. Which of course translates that I didn't get a picture of every single flower and plant. *grins* I'm trigger happy when it comes to a camera.
