Picked up a New Jacket from Kerr's Imports at the Reno Games and today is the first outing, had to post the pic for posterity.

Very nice, I checked them out at the celebration also. I wish they had a website.

My wife is a Chattan and so is Marion from Kerr's and 3-4 years ago Bill pulled my son, who was wearing his Chattan Kilt, into the booth to show his wife, Since then we always stop by and this year he had a great deal on the jackets....and one in my bigger size ;) So I now have something other than a PC or band tunic for my kilts. YEAY!!!

    Looking very smart!

Just one little thing - the belt isn't usually worn with a waistcoat.

And having beem a member of this site for a long time I know that. That being said, I started wearing my sporran strap/chain through the loops on my belt a year ago, I really like the way it hangs now, so I will always wear a belt.

Nice acquisition. It goes very well with your kilt and accoutrement.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I understand the problem, being a gentleman of substance myself with a substantial shed over my precision instrument. As a matter of fact, having given the matter some thought, I received the parts in the mail today for a solution which I will present in the DIY section as soon as I complete the construction. It has likely been done before.
Two small steel holster clips, four Chicago screws, two leather strips, all black, and two steel split rings. The holster clips fit over the top of the kilt and the short straps hang down to where the rings on the belt keepers would be if a belt was worn. Less than 10 bucks to build, and no rocket surgery involved.
