first time casual
this is my first time ever wearing the kilt in a casual style, I still haven't made it outside the front door yet. One step at at a time. Any pointers or tips are most welcome. Slainte.

Looks good, it's a bit cold for rolled down hose though, well for me anyway. I'd suggest a leather sporran strap and a more casual belt, the chain sporran straps can damage your kilt, I therefore like to keep them for formal wear only, my suggestions are just that, suggestions, you could go out just the way you are in the photos and look great.

Ditto on the sporran strap and keeping the socks up in cold weather. Otherwise you look great. If it were 70º out the socks would be fine too.

Lookin' good. I agree on the chain sporran strap. Go for leather. As far as the socks---they're your legs---if you're not cold the outfit looks good.
