Formal picture(s)
Dear all,
Last week me and my girlfriend were allowed to take a number of pictures in the provincial administration building, the oldest part of which dates the the mid-15th century. Taken by a friend of hours with a flair for photography.

Regards
Daniel

You're just trying to make us all jealous, ... of that cool sword. Does your girlfriend know she's wearing her kilt backwards!?
Nice pictures. Thanks for posting.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Daniel, the two of you look great; a nice picture in an interesting location. And... your girlfriend looks like she could be a model (& probably is).
It would be nice to see a picture of you by yourself so we can see the full effect of your outfit. I'm curious about the belt that's under your jacket but over your waistcoat!
Anyway, wonderful pictures Daniel; thanks for sharing.

Hello Nile!
I'm afraid we just have pictures together, the close-up of my girlfriend is an exception. The belt is actually a DIY item because I find the regular cross-belts too militaristic for my outfit and all the others available here are pirate-like ones. In fact I bought two white belts and had them riveted together (rivet point is on the shoulder), and left a little leather to make a loop of so that I could hang my scabbard from it (which you can just see next to my left leg). Although cheap, I think it fits quite well with the ensemble! If you'd like I can take a few pictures of just the belt.

Daniel, I can see it better in the 'photobucket' picture. Very clever and it looks good. I agree, some of those can look quite costume like or too military. Your's is more subtile and refined and looks more natural with your formal attire. Looks great.
