Found some old pics

I found some old pics from when Elaine performed in Lorient France a few years back.
Ham the man came with us. We were lucky to secure some updates to first class on the Eurostar to Paris. Heres a pic of Ham n Arwyn waiting for our breakfast which they automatically give you in first class. It was also followed by a small bottle of wine each .. which we all drank .. even though it was around 10.30am


After a few hours in Paris we caught a TGV to Lorient .. it was winter time and getting dark early .. here is a pic of me and my mum.


The next day we didnt see much off Elaine .. she spent the day with Dan n the gang sound checking and then working in the evening in her office


We had a wonderful adventure and great laf the whole 4 days we were away.
We had to keep an eye on Ar's better half, Dot, .. she started enjoying herself to much when we went to cafes etc .. lol as you can see, she liked the owner ...

It's funny that you should bring these photies out now, Derek. It's that time of the year in Lorient. I've just watched the "Celtic night" and the "Grand Parade of the Inter Celtic Festival of Lorient" on the TV. As you can imagine, it's pretty much impossible to get tickets or places to stay in the area around this time as people book up year after year. They're pretty much booked up for next year's event already.

Yep its a great festival. Elaine and Dan have done it a couple of times over the years and Ive always enjoyed the buzz there.
The pics above were from a one off gig they did and the festival wasnt on at the time unfortunately. If it had been Ham and my mum and friends would have loved the atmosphere around the town.
