Friday Oct. 28th Bay Area Kilt(?) Night

It was a quiet evening in October, a lovely Autumn sunset filled the sky.
As lovely as the sunset was it wasn't as lovely as the red haired lady regarding it. She had a reputation, but she wasn't bad, she was just drawn that way. The leaves rustled in the breeze and a gallant stranger appeared from the brush and offered her an intriguing night. She thought about it and accepted...

A very unusual Kilt night to be sure! Alan H. and Panache were present...in pants Alan had to get home to attend to an out of town guest. Tim C. and the lovely Damaris were on hand, Way2Fractious showed up doing his best "Braveheart" (sword and all), Michael Steinrok and his lady joined us later in the evening. It was a fun night (though the fact that a single broken guitar string shut down the second band for a full 15 minutes was a little odd). Our friends Motorman4life, bunchdescendant, Monkey@arms, Captainjak, Walkerk, and Madelyne were missed (but you were in our thoughts folks.) There were many great costumes in evidence, Way2Fractious tried to photograph them all, hopefully he will add them to this thread. I should have taken more pictures of everyone but this beautiful redhead just kept catching my eye...

    Here are a few photos:

Jessica Rabbit holding Court (and a Devil's Canyon Brewery Pumpkin Pie Ale)

way2fractious and the Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess have a "Best Legs" contest. You can be the judge over who won:

Tim C. surrounded by lovely ladies (it's a tough job but someone has to do it)

The F-H.C.A.G. and Panache playing around with w2f's sword, illustrating one handed and two handed fighting styles...

    Happy Halloween to all!

I couldn't be there long...had a visiting uncle coming in and had to pick him up at the airport. HOWEVER...

Panache looked fantastic and the FHBCAG was eye-popping. Best hug I've had in months.

One regret of the evening was missing a photo of the barmaid in a black leather mini-kilt outfit...
