    Funeral

I attended a memorial service today for a gentleman who was a couple of months short of his 90th birthday. It wasn't a religious service, more of a "celebration of life" with family and friends giving tributes. I chose to wear my "Black Isle" kilt, white shirt with black tie, grey hose with black garters, charcoal jacket and black brogues.

You look great. Your choice of attire is nicely sombre. Most appropriate.

Liam, I am sorry for your loss of your friend.

On a different note, your outfit looks very nice indeed. Well done.

Good on ya! Sometimes its kinda scary to show up at a funeral service or wake kilted. Every time I have the family has thanked me and said they felt honored. One family gasped, "How did you know we were Scottish?" Sharp look too.

Very respectable outfit for a memorial service . I have not seen the "Black Isle" tartan before but it is now on my "to get" list .
