further adventures of a kilted vacationer

We went to Washington DC. A man asked me if I was Scottish as we left the metro. I said my heritage was. I asked him ifhe wore them and said he liked doing it but he had to do it alone as his wife didn't like them. (they were black and although his heritage included scot she just didn't like a man in a skirt) He may do it more though because I was wearing my utilakilt (the only one I brought) with all my national park patches on and he got excited about that idea. He like I really like patches and he'd never thought of putting them on the over flap.
Here I am doing the tree pose with my grandson running around me.

I have not been to DC in years, spent 3 days checking out the Smithsonian but did not see it all the last time before that I went on my motorcycle and visited Arlington Cemetery and the Vietnam Veterans memorial.

    we spent 2 afternoon's there

but both times we couldn't get there until 10 and had to leave by 2 to 3 so we didn't really see much comparatively b and one day was at the zoo but it was fun. I wanted to see Arlington but the zoo was much more appealing to little boys.

Looks like a good time had by all. I'm hoping to get my 3 down there this fall for the Smithsonian and a couple of the monuments.
