We went to Washington DC. A man asked me if I was Scottish as we left the metro. I said my heritage was. I asked him ifhe wore them and said he liked doing it but he had to do it alone as his wife didn't like them. (they were black and although his heritage included scot she just didn't like a man in a skirt) He may do it more though because I was wearing my utilakilt (the only one I brought) with all my national park patches on and he got excited about that idea. He like I really like patches and he'd never thought of putting them on the over flap.
Here I am doing the tree pose with my grandson running around me.
here are two of my grandkids at FDR's monument with a fellow scot
There was cricket at the mall (rugby also but I didn't get a picture so it obviously didn't happen)
the Washington Memorial
We went to his parents house for dinner (no haggis I'm afraid) where the kids water fought (grandma joined in) and rode bikes
