This guy was great... first he played his chanter, told me he won a piping championship because it was raining and no one wanted to get their full set of bagpipes wet so he won! then... he was busking mid-parade for money for a full set! and then he told me how is single-handedly going to gather a strong army to gain control of the Castle and Palace. I told him I'd fight for a piping champion anyday! haha

and finally... I saw a guy who looked like Malcolm, took a picture of him and then Malcolm was a couple of clans behind. I tried to take a picture of him and my camera ran out of battery!
So here's "Malcolm" in the parade!

I had a great time meeting you all... you're all surprisingly good people! and I await your pictures of the day, parade and the group photo at the bar!

Really enjoyed these pics. They give a good taste of what I missed. I had planned to go up. Glad the weather held yesterday. Nice to see the Donnachaidh reps and Chief.

The Donnachaidh clan were very friendly. My girlfriend was welcomed by them and got to speak to the chief for a wee while after finding out her surname and grandmother's surname were both septs for the clan!

Nice shots! The shot of Clan Donnachaidh is great. Michael Reid our NYC rep is one of the Banner holders. Keep those pictures coming!
