German blood, Celtic soul
"German blood, Celtic soul"
This is my favorite shirt bar none... It embraces my proud Germanic ancestry while smiling upon my Celtic lineage as well. I'm proud to be part of a limited printing of this shirt.

I still haven't photographed myself in my shirt yet, as I'm waiting to show it with my latest Guthrie tartan kilt commission from Barbara.

Very nice indeed. I love Germany. My wife was born and raised in Nuremberg, Germany.

f you come to germany ever, better leave this shirt at home. The words "Deutsches Blut" (german blood) written in this 1930's typo font could be offending to many people. "Deutsches Blut" is still connected with the idea of aryan blood. The celtic part of the shirt is nearly unvisible, so people could think you belong to the very right wing extremists.

We German-Celtic-Americans like the shirt just the way it is, thanks. And we are the buyers it was designed primarily for anyway.

Without a jump into the political correctness of the design of any item worn, flying on a pole, etc. Kristof is pointing out a view that is acute in Germany, as Mike is stating the tastes of his kinship to the logo. I personally like and have a flag of the unpopular era in the US history that depicts my family (hence all Americans) struggle. Let's leave that part of the conversation aside and note that a point has been made and move on with our discussion.
I accept the MODs views on my posting, be what they may be.
