Lovely pics Alex. I love Bavaria. I have been lucky enough to visit a few times. Are you conversant in German or are they kind enough to converse in English? I know they have a particular dialect which to the uninitiated can be sometimes tricky to follow.

I have started learning a little bit of German but fortunately they are all willing to speak to me in English and all speak reasonably good English.

Great pictures Alex. Did you wear one of your kilts to the Confirmation? Also, what does your fiancee's daughter think of you being kilted most of the time? (Just curious; there's another thread on this form regarding that subject.)

The ladies (mother and daughter) love the kilt.
I wore a kilt every day while in Germany except for the Confirmation as it was Martina's big day and I did not want to divert attention to myself.

I had the privilege of visiting Bavaria 14 years ago. It's a beautiful area.

Beautiful ladies and a big plus that they like men in kilts.
I would like to see all of Europe and especially Germany.

looks like you had a nice time.
When you are in Nürnberg for a longer time, please drop a note. Nürnberg is not too far away from me,
so we might manage to come together.
