    Germany Again

Just back home in Scotland from Germany, third trip this year but first one this year as full-time kilted.

Schloss Neunhof is a fortified manor house built about 1480. The gardens were re-constructed in 1962 from a seventeenth century plan.

A visit to Ebermannstadt in the Swiss Franconian region of Bavaria.

We visited my mother-in-law in Nuremberg

A meal in a Greek restaurant with my stepdaughter Martina.

I'm sure you enjoyed! I've also travelled there with my German-born wife to visit family and have always enjoyed it.

I do love the look of those southern German timber-framed buildings. Quite a unique style of architecture.

I like the marketplace in the Nuremberg. Have visited they a few times on business trips.

How was the reception of your kilted attire on this trip? Nuremberg is so cosmopolitan that you see visitors from just about everywhere.

The kilt produced no reactions in Nuremberg and only a few stares from the ladies in the more rural areas which we visited.

Great pics and awesome kilt. I can't believe that amazing building, "Schloss Neunhof" is in Nurmeberg. I was stationed not too far from there and went to Nurmeberg all the time and never even heard of this place. Definitely on my must see list next time I head back to visit friends.
