THURSDAY

We arrived Thursday evening shortly after the Bear had started. As we located our tent, the runners were passing through the field on their way to the top of the mountain.



We bought supper from a food vendor and had just enough time to eat before I had to join the other clan representatives forming-up for the Torchlight Ceremony.



After we got back to the motel, carolinanan117 took this picture to show how I was dressed.

We got to the mountain too late on Thursday to drive to the tent and unload, so we had to get up at O'Dark-Thirty Friday morning. We had the tent setup by the time the gates opened, and one of our first visitors was none-other than our very own Bo On The Go.

Right behind our display tent -- The Memorial Cairn. One of those stones came from Caithness. She appears to be getting ready for competition with her Clarsach. The Fiddling Tent was on the other side of those trees, and the Scottish Fiddling and Scottish Harp competitions were held there.
