Great day in The Lowcountry
Had a fantastic weekend fall into place. Just before leaving for a long overdue family gathering on the Georgia coast, received a delivery from USA Kilts way sooner than expected. Finally got a Murray of Atholl wool kilt (5yrd, HoE, muted) I’ve been planning on for nearly a decade. Met with a wide group of Murray family and shared stories, genealogy, DNA findings, and tall tales about our ancestors that arrived in this area 170 years ago.
Slàinte mhath y’all!

Also newly arrived, Murray Clan Society of N.A. shirt
(Camera did a weird effect on the tartan)

Also got several kids kilts in the mail, will post the eventual family group photo and rave about the HoE muted tartan/USA Kilts quality on a future thread.

Seeing the moss in the trees takes me back a lot of years. Like lightning bugs and whippoorwills, not as common as in my childhood.
