    Heart of Hawick Burns Supper

Let me take you along as my virtual guest to the Heart of Hawick Burns Supper.

Looking down from the first floor balcony in the Tower Mill, through the glass floor to the water wheel. Those of you who have been here will recognise this location.

    Pre-dinner entertainment in the auditorium.

Piper Colin Turnbull pipes the guests in to dinner.

    Top table.

The haggis is duly piped in. More to follow shortly.

    The Address to the Haggis.

Eager anticipation of Haggis being served. There were some bonnie lassies there too!

Haggis, neeps and tatties - delicious!

Colin Turnbull plays a piece on the Border Smallpipes.

    Tam o' Shanter.
All too soon it was time for a rousing rendering of Auld Lang Syne.
    That's all folks!

Looks like fun, Alex and I love the new kilt!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Great pictures as usual, Alex. It is interesting to see the different settings for Burns suppers in different places.
