hike and thistles

The wife and I (and grizzly) did our regular trail at oak glen. I was in my Anderson with a new sporran I made ( I was trying a two layer flap) The thistle is an invasive species here but they leave it to do as it wants. The 5 sequoia trees they have there are also invasive since the nearest trees are over 300 miles away and about 5-6 hundred years old. They leave them alone also.

These are great photos. And nothing can match a kilt for hiking or rock hunting. We have the same kind of sunflowers here where I live. In fact we have a bunch in our yard.
