I spent nearly 10 days in Grand Teton National Park in 2 sections. The first trip was 6 days. I enjoyed many hikes, much wildlife and incredible scenery all while kilted. I had my Anderson, McKenzie and National Park (Khaki canvas with patches)
I did have one near disaster on the first day. I had stopped by the river on the way to cmp because a beaver was sitting on the bank eating grass as the sun went down. As I got back into the car and started the engine the key fell apart. Middle of basically no where and a key that requires expensive repairs. Luckily I was in one of the few spots with internet so called road side service. Normally I get a person but this time only a machine which took a little infor and then put me on hold. It got pitch black before I hung up and called my agent. She said they were on vacation but if I'd hang up she'd get me help.
I did that. The week before I had lost my keys during a trip but as I sat in the car I thought while I have gone through my camera bag 5 times already I had it with me when I lost the keys so emptied it completely and searched it. I realized there was a cut in the padding and found the keys between the padding. As that happened the police called to say my agent had called them and they would help me. I explained I had found a second set so could start the car. It was lucky because the police informed me while they could tow me there was no one who could repair the key so there was no way to get the car going. The rest of the week I was poaranoid about turning the car on but had a great time. Here are pictures from the trip
