Hiking in Ouray, CO
Hello! Went down to Ouray for the weekend with our friends who were having a fencing camp. Went on some fantastic hikes and even brought the pipes along.

Pictures did not come through on my computer. Did this happen to others?

I don't see any pics either. That seems to be a common problem on this forum. I've given up on trying to attach anything, and I just use an external host like Photobucket.

I too do not see the pics, but Ouray is one of my favorite places.

It's because my images were too high resolution when I first posted. Not sure why it initially allowed me to upload them though

Wanted to go there for AGES. I love SW Colo, just hadn't made it out there yet. We went camping in the Weminuche wilderness a few years ago and spent the whole time kilted too. We took the train train to Elk Park, just south of Silverton and hiked up to the Continental Divide and camped for 3 nights.

Great pictures. It's a great place with plenty of water falls yet I have not taken my pipes there yet. I have family just on the other side of some of those mountains.

Thanks for the pics. Your last photo, I have a question: what's it like to play a duet with yourself? That's got to be some interesting acoustics.
