    hiking and stone lifting

JoAnn, grizz and I went out to oak glen for a weekly hike. I found a rock that looked like it needed lifting. I'm reading a book on the history of scottish stone lifting which since the pandemic is how I exercise. (my yard provided rocks of 70, 80, 90, 155 and a 350 pounder. I weighed the rest but the 350 is my son's estimate since he does it for competitions and that what it felt like to him)
I wore a new sporran I had made which I am pretty content with. Anyway on to the rock. It was heavier than I anticipated . My guess is around 100 pounds but it could be lighter and just awkward.

Very nice tooling on the sporran!

The only rocks I voluntarily move is when I am gardening

    Cheers
