Hot Weather Kilting on the Colorado River
Its that time of year again. Just back from a two day mid-week mini vacation at Lees Ferry. Taking pics of a group of friends going down canyon for a week. Someday I'll be on one of them rafts.
Its been HOT around here and there's nothing cooler than a PV Casual kilt and sandals...

My USA Kilts casual in MacPherson Hunting at the launch ramp at Lees Ferry.

My USA Kilts casual in Pennsylvania tartan in the rocks behind Cliff Dweller's Lodge where we stayed and chowed down on succulent dinner and breakfast from Heaven.
One of the great things that gives solid meaning to the word casual is that when I come home from hours of driving in kilted comfort I can just hang up the kilt and quickly steam out any wrinkles and its ready to go for next time.
Not sure the reason, but there were lots of "midge-like" little bugs along the river. As pesky as they can be none seemed interested in flying up under my kilts....

Looking good Ron, and once again some magnificent scenery.

Always the bridesmaid, never the bride....Ron when are you going to climb into one of those rafts?
Great scenery and kilts as usual.

Thanks Tess, hopefully ere long. When my friend started organizing the trips I was dealing with the cancer and follow up to chemo...feeling healthier now. But she's not running any more trips until 2015. Plenty of other outfitters. Also, to make travel easier for her clients she starts and ends the trip 5 hours from me in Las Vegas and I'd be paying for two nights of rooms in Las Vegas and driving there to get to a venue that's already close to home. Kinda silly though. I've spent plenty of money on kilts and items not mentionable here that could have been used to go down canyon... Someday....

For some reason, I really enjoy seeing these yearly pictures Ron. Just the way you embrace the joy of Kilting is inspiring.

I will say what the English are saying to me these days of heatwave, "you look real cool " "yeh right on."
Off to a commercial boat show at Southampton ,Bananna Warf. Up by the cruise liner embarkation and car import landing area. Miles of new car compounds and container area.
The ships go by with three thousand containers on deck.
