Thumbs up Houston Highland Games: Post your pics!

Well, if we look sweaty its because it was really hot and humid, but the Houston Games were great! We had a few X-Marksers turn up, and a good time was had. Mrs.Z and I took a few photos, but a few were useless and the quality of some is poor because our 'good' camera is broke! I'm getting some from friends soon and I'll thow them in. If anyone has some more pics, post them here!

Here's a shot from when we first showed up, My wife Shelley, Steve (Jack Daw), our friend Sandy, and I.

I don't know how any of our members did in the piping or throwing, but ol'Zardoz won the first place medal in the traditional shortbread competition! Remember- a bad back and knees can't stop you from playing at the Highland Games!

Here we are getting felt up by the Tilted Kilt girls in the "Knobby Knees" contest, I didn't win this one! It was rough going, but I did my best!

Here's a couple of guys that I'm sure were sweating more than I was!

There really were games! (but you had to go out in the sun to see them)

We took visiting XMarker Peacekeeper83 to a little post games Mexican dinner with the girltorage, L to R; Doloris, Sandy, Zardoz, Shelley, Dan (peacekeeper83), Linda, Angela.

I haven't worn it in a long time, but I like it. It's "The Laird" and was made by Craiggie in Florida. Her shop is called 'Craiggies' oddly enough, but her webby is www.sporrans.com.

See response above. No bottles of scotch, but I did have my tall whisky flask, cell phone, credit and insurance cards, some cash, a comb (no offense), car keys, and a pocket knife.
