How about a February Kilt Pic challenge?
OK, because I'm the guy who posted the thread, and by the authority invested in me by absolutely nobody, I hereby challenge you to ....
Post a picture of you in your kilt MAKING SOMETHING.
....Welding, sewing, coding in Perl, sawing, cooking, building a campfire, knitting, leatherwork, robotics, tye-dying a t-shirt, pouring wax in a mold for a candle, brewing beer... ...whatever it is that you create....GO for it.(but not making music, that's next month!) ... Mind you, the picture should be of you actually DOING SOMETHING, not just standing there, in your most perfectly posed position, next to the pottery kiln (or whatever), watching it heat up. Nope, I want to see you AT WORK, being a "Maker". If you're a potter I want to see you casting the pot, applying the glaze, busting the rejected pieces, stoking the raku kiln with wood that will smoke, or whatever....not just standing there.
Oh, MAN, this is going to be a challenge for me, not sure I have a picture of myself "making something".

I like these challenges. Please keep them coming.
Does making music count?

That is all I have right now.

I'll get this started---not exactly a new picture but definitely "doing" something, in this case missing a birdie putt on #17 The Road Hole at the Old Course, St Andrews (okay, technically not "making" the putt, but at least making the attempt).

or
Swinging the "big dog" off the tee at Turnberry Ailsa Course "making" my way well down the fairway:

Will have to look around for some others, but here is a start.

Can I post a pic on behalf of others? This is one Peter MacDonald sent me for my Carolina Tartan web site. It's him on the loom making (what else?) tartan!

I was hoping someone would post a good kilted knitting pic. Ryan has a great one, too.

Ok hot off the press, fresh from the camera, what Im doing tonight. Another post will follow this weekend when I am done but tonight Im making haggis, my first haggis. So a couple of shots of doing something, besides drinking beer.
Grinding the lamb parts with my grandmothers old hand grinder.

Toasting the steel cut Irish oats in a cast iron skillet.

It is 6pm now so about 3 hours from now I should have the finished product. Kilt is my Elkommando, dont want to get any of my good kilts messy with lamb parts or suet.

Quite right! I LOVE the haggis pic, especially. It just looks so... Rockwellian almost. The only thing missing a big hound dog under the grinder.
My apologies sir. I just couldn't help myself

Me, neither. ha!
Well. Usually. While I got a laugh out of that, I'm glad we're back on topic.
