I call it, the Shporran!
Unfortunately, it's not mine. But I snapped two pics at the MD Renn Fest this weekend.
The gentleman was manning a clothing shop which my friend frequents.
I may just have to rip him off and make one myself.
I present, the Shporran! (errr, in my gallery)

Are you trying to pull the wool over our eyes?
sorry but I think it's a baaa-d idea, for shear bad taste it wins hoofs down!
Sorry to be so negative, but I would feel very sheepish wearing something like that!

Hmmm. A giant canary wearing a kilt with a sheep strapped on the front. My bird watching buddies will never believe it!

It could catch on in countries where guys typically approach sheep from behind.

TWAS I!
(He says sheepishly.)
Actually I made it as a joke- one of the fellows in the shop is a Wallace and Grommet fan. He told me I needed to make a sporran from a 'Shorn the Sheep' backpack. (Mine was actually made from a Serta counting sheep.) The scary part is that I had to make 3- both my sons wanted one too. Mayhaps I should worry?
Oh- If you stop by I'll share the pattern for the leather pieces.

Aha! I wondered if that was you. Glad you found the forum!
I can give you larger versions of the picture if you want. Had to size them down for the gallery software.
