I went to a wedding and ruined it for the bride and groom
I'm afraid that I did.
This is me, dancing with Marian, the 86 year old Adult Study committee chairwoman at my church. The band was playing "Wipeout", and I dragged her out on the grass to trip the light fantastic. She was the "goodest" of good sports. We did "The Swim" and generally acted silly and had fun to the delight of a number of church members. Consensus is that buried deep inside Marian is a full-on Party Girl. But as you can see, I'm wearing white socks. They are hand-knitted white socks, no less. Thanks, String!

It's clear from this picture of the bride and groom, that my wearing of white socks completely destroyed their day.

I just feel terrible.

I certainly hope you asked permission to wear such inappropriate attire to the event!

If your hose are white, then your shirt must be light blue (unless I need to adjust the contrast on my laptop). What color were the liquid spirits being served?

Alan,
Forget about the white hose.
We need to have a serious man-to-man talk about your turnout...
... and those arms!

That's it then, the end of the world is nigh. First, white hose are seen, next water will start to run uphill, the world will spin the other way and then------------?

Dancing with your hands above your head and white hose at the same time??? I'm surprised lightning did not strike. Congratulations to the happy couple nonetheless.

Um. Orange. And Yellow. Mimosa's and hard cider. Oh, and there was wine but I never got to that. I was too busy dancing, flirting shamelessly with the grooms sister, doing my best to talk to tio Paolo and tia Juanita in Spanish, having another mimosa, flirting with Pastor Gwen who is harrassing me about her billie kilt that I'm making, flaunting my grossly inappropriate and disrespectful attire, having another mimosa, hugging the bride, doing Star Wars imitations with the groom..
Meeesa think Juan and Maija VEEEEEERRRRRY smart peeeeple!
having another mimosa, and dancing with Marion. I even offered a cute undergraduate in a very short black skirt and high heels, who was a friend of the bride, an opportunity to feel my socks, which she did. I fully expected her to take me to task for wearing such abominations but then she told me that she knew how to knit and was kind of blown away by the amount of work it took to knit socks like that. I then let her take everything out of my sporran. BTW, shirt is stark white, socks are "natural wool off-white".
