the introduction of BIG SISTER!!!
I dont remember his sister being this small ...even though he's a pound heavier than SHE was !!
they just told me he's gettin snipped tomorrow
and I in turn broke the news to him!!
serious though there were a few hairy moments when the doc called for backup as boyo got "hung up " shears came out, a cut was made and I caught him! the only problem really was that he didnt make a peep and didnt move an inch and he was a little brighter shade of blue than my t-shirt the nurses took him and there was a flurry of activity around the warming station. but he just needed some stimuli to get going....I had to play the calm one telling my wife that all they needed to do was warm him up and rub him with towels to get him going .... even though I was as scared as my wife!
the REAL cool part was that I got to catch him! the doc knew I was in the medical field and she let me bring my boy into the world !! how many dads get to say that?!?!?
hope you enjoyed the pics! mom and baby are doing GREAT now and both are probably asleep as I type this at home with big sister asleep in the other room.....
