Well. I suppose it's about time I posted a picture of myself. There's just one problem: it's not my picture. Somebody else owns it. Therefore, I will just post a link to the page here and, if you're interested, you can go look at it there.
In case you're all wondering, I'm the one who is obviously not wearing a sgian, or gillies, and is having trouble remembering to keep his elbows up.
The tartan is Inverness Modern, and I believe it's Lochcarron 16 oz. Strome. This is the first kilt I've had since I was 12 years old. It's not really my kilt, though. It belongs to the band, and it wasn't made for me. (It's a bit large for me, too.) Still, I get to wear it around places, and I've worn it longer than I ever wore my first kilt.
I've actually had it since last fall, but I've been a bit inactive around here since then.
The above photograph is from the Tandy Hills Prairie Fest, which was held in Fort Worth on April 24th. There's a brief video of the band performing on YouTube:
Apart from us, I also saw a fellow wearing a black kilt and black t-shirt.
