    Iona kilt pin

    Lucky me! Just back from Scotland and whilst on Iona, Mrs. R treated me to an Alexander Richie designed "Prioress Anna" sterling silver brooch that will be entering service as a kit pin and will have its first outing at Harpenden in July. Here it is, with a couple of pics of the beautiful Iona as well:

    Ach... simply lovely! I wonder if we may have been on Iona about the same time and didn't know it? I was there May 11-15. You have a precious treasure from a precious Isle. Thanks for the photos... a great reminder of a "thin place". D.

    We missed each other by a couple of weeks mate. I was on Mull for four days at the beginning of June and as part of that, Iona for only one. A precious place indeed.
