I've been gone a lot the last few weeks

I spent 10 days in Grand Teton alone. Then I returned home and spent two days at the games at Scotfest. My wife and dog grizzly then returned to grand teton for 4 days. We then went to my daughter's home in Blackfoot Idaho where I got pulled over twice by the police. We had a celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary (not the reason I got pulled over) where the majority of our kids wore kilts. We couldn't afford more than sports kilts but they looked great especially on the little ones. The next day we went to an imaginatively named place called Fall Creek Falls, a water fall on a creek where my son proposed to his girlfriend.
The first time I got stopped I turned onto the main street from the highway and then switched lanes. I didn't signal that so he pulled me over said I wasn't getting a ticket just a warning. He did "invite" to sit in his car while he ran my record. A couple of days later our kids dog got lost during our celebration so hopped in the car and drove slowly around the neighborhood looking for him. A cop stopped me for that and after a second cop came while they ran the records he gave me information for the pound and let me go

I am torn about this one. At first sight I thought coyote but he was quite big for a coyote, his legs are thicker than normal and he walked with a strut not a prance so I'm leaning to wolf.

A badger in a meadow. some idiot got within 5 feet of him but the badger didn't tear him a new one which he deserved but stupidity is sometimes lucky

Dare i ask what cam, and lens, You used?
Something around 3-400mm?

Still. Those pictures are great!

Thanks. I will admit the standing bear I am especially happy with. I use the Nikon D7200 and tamron 150-600. I had the sigma but when tamron came out it was so superior I gave my daughter the sigma and bought the tamron. It can be a little soft at 600 but I do love it.

You have all rights to be happy...

And with the Tamron, i do understand the standing bear. And that You were out of reach of it...

Have a ol Nikon D200 myself, but nothing longer than the 80-200/2.8 and Nikkor 200/4.
A long tele(zoom) is on my bucket list though. Thus You stating the Tamron, being better than the Sigma, is quite some confirmation, of suspicion.
