I'm happy to say that my little brother's kilt has finally arrived. So here is the happy recipient himself in his brand new Buchanan Thrifty Youth kilt from Stillwater. From the back. The pleat shot The Hamish! Which took some explaining before I convinced him to pose. We're missing a sporran because the chain is far too long to fit this kid, so he'll go without until Dad has a chance to take some links out. But Luke has already announced that he will be wearing his new kilt to our family's annual golf game and every other opportunity he can find. I gave it to him as soon as I came through the door and he has yet to take it off. I'm hoping we have another convert.
He looks great, and very happy, but I can understand his reluctance/confusion about doing a Hamish!

He looks great. Tell him congratulations.

That shouldn't take long then. He looks great!! And while I have no Buchanan blood I do have Buchanan friends, and seeing that tartan brings back nostalgic memories of good times.

It looks and sounds like we have another convert.
